Conflicts of interest
Multiple roles—such as platform operator, service provider, liquidity facilitator, or related-party originator—can create conflicts of interest. KIBOV is designed to identify, disclose, and manage such conflicts in line with institutional expectations.
Identification
Conflicts may arise in fee structures, related-party servicing, incentive alignment of utility tokens, or allocation decisions across pools.
Mitigation (examples)
- Disclosure in pool and corporate materials.
- Governance and approval workflows for related-party transactions where implemented.
- Segregation of duties and operational controls subject to audit.
No elimination statement
Conflicts cannot be eliminated entirely. Investors must read all disclosures and seek independent advice.
Regulatory and legal refinement. Related-party transaction policies require board-level governance documentation.
